The outstanding statuette of a deity derives from archaistic models created in the second century B.C.; the lack of attributes prevents an exact identification of the figure, which is dressed in a long chiton made of heavy shirred cloth covered by a himation arranged crosswise, so that as it falls it forms a series of decorative zigzagging folds.
